Last week I was privileged to collaborate with a great team of vendors on an exciting styled inspiration shoot. Rose of Paper Crane Photo and Mikayla and Breanna of BeChicBride brainstormed the unique concept of traditional Indian bride meets Modern decor and asked me to come on board to help style/coordinate the shoot. Today I’ve got some phone iPhone snaps of the behind the scenes work to share with you.
For the sake of total honesty, Indian Weddings were not an area of expertise for me. However, this opportunity was exciting and pushed me to think out of the box. With the help of our gorgeous Indian model, Nusrat, we learned a lot about how modern day Indian brides find that balance of honoring tradition while also expressing personality through decor and personal style.
Nusrat was just beautiful and Mikayla and Brenna of BeChic Bride did an incredible job enhancing that natural beauty through hair and makeup.
Emily Walters of Emmy Ray took only a few guidelines/suggestions and created the most beautiful arrangements and floral pieces for the shoot. She is so talented.
We incorporated some fun calligraphy details to create the “good as gold” theme.
Don’t miss the photographs from Rose and Joel of Paper Crane Photo which you can view here. They captured everything beautifully and were a joy to work with!
